Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in France's Puy-de-Domme on August 9, 1976. She is the fourth child in the family. Her parents, a dentist and teacher recognized and supported her interest in the theatre and dramatic arts as early as she was a child. This superseded an initial desire to become a primatologist due to her fascination with monkeys. The rise of her as a young actress was quick and accompanied with early success. When she completed her education, she participated in the French talent-scouting television programme Jeunes Premiers. The show awarded her the best young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors and started her career as an actor. Tautou studied at The Institut Catholique de Paris, in addition to attending church as a young girl. She has since distanced herself with this background. The actress claims she's not officially Catholic. Alongside her acting career, Tautou took up modeling and was the face for L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. Alongside her acting profession, she has an interest in photography. Recently, she exhibited a selection images at Arles Film Festival. Arles Film Festival and wore the name Superficial. Her photographs concentrates on celebrities and fame. The camera's lens is focused to journalists, who have sat and watched the actress after Amelie's sudden success. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom as well as international recognition with her first major role starring as the lead in Le Fabuleux Destiny d'Amelie. Following that film, the actress appeared in many films ranging that ranged from British dramatics, to Jean Pierre Jeunet's Un long day of the fiancailles. Later, she made her way to Hollywood and co-starred with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code.
